Class Policies and Other Details

Class Times & Dates
Classes on our calendar show dates and times. Any class listed only as a morning class may be scheduled to meet your afternoon, evening or week-end needs. Please contact the shop for complete details.
Class Registration
Full payment for classes is due when you register, a class supplies list will be provided at that time. If you are unable to attend a class, we are happy to issue a store credit with one-week's advance notice, provided the class size remains above four students. Cash refunds will be made if the class is cancelled. Class sizes are limited to a minimum 4 and maximum 8 students.
Copyrighted Books and Patterns
It is illegal to copy printed materials for use in a class. Each student is required to purchase a copy of the required book or pattern for the class.
When a sewing machine is required, please be sure to bring all the necessary accessories, including foot pedal and power cords, as well as instruction manual.
Class begins promptly at the listed time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to set up your work station. The classroom is available for customers who need room to baste or complete projects. Please call in advance to reserve the room.
Class Equipment
Please read your supply list carefully. Plan your sewing kit to include:
Rotary cutter
Rotary mat and rulers
Pins
Needles for sewing machine and hand sewing
Fabric and paper scissors
Thread and wound bobbins
Thimble
Seam ripper
Paper and pencils
Clearly label all of your tools so they may be returned if lost or left behind.
